Events, warehouse and warm-weather roles, and any order where price per unit matters more than a polished look — a t-shirt run of 50+ is usually the cheapest way to put a logo on that many people.
Both embroidery and print work well. For large back prints or full-colour designs, screen printing or DTF beats embroidery on cost at volume; for a small chest logo, embroidery still holds up better over time.
Cotton vs cotton-blend: pure cotton is cheaper and printed on most often, but a poly-cotton blend resists shrinking and holds colour through more washes if the t-shirt is meant to last a season, not a day.
For a smarter, still-affordable option, a polo shirt is the natural step up.
